¿Qué significa hacer un doctorado?

Cuando acabas un grado (artista antes conocido con el nombre de licenciatura) se plantean diversas salidas profesionales. Una de ellas en hacer una Tesis Doctoral. En mi caso, esa fue la elección. Ahora mismo, estoy en mi tercer año y aunque a veces  haya momentos de aghagjfbfrgacd, es decir, de frustración, estoy contenta con la decisión que tomé.

When you finish a degree, you have several professional exits. One of them is doing a PhD. In my case, that was my choice. Now I am in my third year and although sometimes I have moments of aghagfbfrgacd, I mean, of frustration, I am happy with the decision I took.

En este post, os enseño algo que encontré hace un tiempo por internet y que señala muy bien ese balance entre frustración y satisfacción que comentaba. Una explicación “muy visual” de lo que significa hacer un doctorado.

You push that barrier during some years:

Until one day, that barrier breaks:

Y esa mella que has creado se llama doctorado:

And that dent that you have created is called a PhD:

Por supuesto, el mundo te parece distinto ahora:

Of course, the world looks different now:
